How the maker works
Every word you enter is placed exactly — the generator never silently drops a word. If a list won't fit, you get a clear message naming the words that wouldn't place, so you can shorten or remove them. Words may cross only where they share a letter, and the empty cells fill with decoy letters drawn from your own words so the finished grid looks natural.
Difficulty controls the grid: easy and large print keep words reading forward on a 10 × 10 board, medium adds diagonals and reversed words on 14 × 14, and hard uses all eight directions on 16 × 16. Puzzles you create are private: they exist only at their share link, are never added to the site's library, and are excluded from search engines.
